Abstract
The following work presents one of the identification modality, that according to Jacques-Alain Miller, builds itself as a predominant in present societies: identification towards the consumer. Based on the film Soul Kitchen by turkish – german director Faith Akin, it is reflected on the misplacing which this identification modality produces in contemporary subjects. It is also proposed the redirection to singularity as a possible orientation.
