Abstract
Some prejudices about people with Down’s syndrome are questioned in the film Yo, también. Against the continuous questioning of the competences of this people, the film aims for a more mature approach that recognizes the diversity among them. A paradigm shift is needed for breaking with this paternalism. Lévina’s idea of the Other is really valuable in this way.
